"Praise the Lord!
He was angry with me,
but now he comforts me.
See, God has come to save me.
I will trust in him and not be afraid.
The Lord God is my strength and my song;
He has become my salvation"
Isaiah 12:1-2 (NLT)
20.4.16
12.4.16
I have observed
I am my country.
A country is its people.
A country is its culture.
I am my country
but my country is occupied
by arrogance, by ignorance,
by those who don't respect
my country,
and now my country suffers oppression.
Sometimes I wish I were God
I wish I was Jesus.
Not for the sake of Christianity,
but for the sake of humanity,
for the sake of my country.
If I truly believe the words of Jesus
the world's most controversial
dissident and humanitarian
I must believe him when he says
"What I have done,
You can do greater."
